Roles and Responsibilities:

Learn, accept and live Century Aluminum’s Safety Mission Statement

Logs onto SAP system to receive, update and properly close, write work orders, purchase order parts and record hours worked on orders by entering data into predetermined fields. May receive printed work orders from supervisor or customer.

Performs safety check on forklifts, other vehicles, cranes, and machines operated following check list / form.

Troubleshoots and repairs Electrical components.

Assists with planning and installation of new Electrical systems and equipment.

Troubleshoots and repairs heating (including hot water), ventilation, and cooling equipment.

Monitors radio and responds to calls from operators, maintenance, or supervisory personnel reporting Electrical failures or malfunctions.

Cleans tools, equipment, and work areas daily. Stows tools in proper areas, returns vehicles, cranes, lifts, and hoists to appropriate areas and positions.

Communicates with supervisors, purchasing, outside vendors, co-workers and internal customers.

Participates in the evaluation and purchase of new equipment. Attends training seminars on maintenance procedures.

Tests and calibrates Electrical meters and instrumentation.

Makes repairs, performs preventive maintenance and does routine switching in high voltage switch yard.

Performs lock-outs on equipment and re-energizes once repair is complete.

14

Perform other tasks as assigned.
