About the Role
The File Maintenance team is tasked with implementing and maintaining revenue cycle configurations across multiple lines of business including Clinical Laboratories, Pathology, Radiology, Molecular, Hospitals, and Device Companies. As such – we’re looking for an individual with exceptional organizational skills, a desire to meet and exceed goals as a team, and a constant drive to learn and grow their understanding in order to provide exceptional support to our customers both internally and externally.
This position will be located at our offices in Charleston, SC.

How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Manage incoming cases via a Salesforce queue
- Review cases and suggest corrections if necessary
- Facilitate completion of cases, either by completing the work yourself or by coordinating with other departments
- Provide regular updates and maintain channels of communication
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both coworkers and external customers
- Analyze system functions and provide input on how to optimize
- Meet team goals and timelines for case turnaround times
- Monitor public data sources for published regulatory files
- Preparing/Formatting regulatory files for loading into our systems
Skills and experience you have:
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
- High School Diploma required; advanced education and/or degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with experience in laboratory billing preferred
- Knowledge of one or more areas, including: ABN, Appeals, EOBs, CPT and/or ICD-10 coding
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with medical billing software, XiFin RPM preferred

Pay Transparency
At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected hourly range for this role is $20 to $24, based on your experience, skills, and geographic location.
Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for either a File Maintenance Specialist or Sr. File Maintenance Specialist title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
