Description
Responsibilities & Duties
- Directs and oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements
- Develops and implements PMO processes, policies, metrics and reporting systems
- Provide resource forecasting, level loading of programs, and training opportunities for PMO personnel
- Oversee effective management of program budgets, expense levels, personnel, performance, schedules, and contract deliverables
- Works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of programs
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the PM function and drives continuous improvement activities in support of UEC’s Quality Management System
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
- Provide job opportunity evaluation and bid strategy input as well as technical input for proposal preparation
- Serve as principal point of contact with current and potential customers to identify new business opportunities; develop strategies to win new business, and manage new work
- As an active TPM, lead and manage multi-functional program teams and be responsible for on-time and on-budget execution of programs
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 7 years of related technical project or program experience, and 2 years’ experience managing personnel
