Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing relevant instruction and hands-on training that are necessary to successfully operate a forklift in a variety of settings
- Instructing students in the techniques of forklift operations
- Ensuring all course documentation and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Demonstrating and contributing creativity and real-world training scenarios
Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must have:
- Five (5) years’ operator experience
- OSHA pocket card
- Completion of forklift operator instructor development course
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:- Post-secondary degree/certificate in occupational safety
- Adult education training experience
- Flexible schedule that allows for instruction during days, evenings, and weekends, and/or Saturdays
- Ability to utilize technology
