Job Responsibilities

The Wellness Center Director administers a comprehensive program of wellness activities at Trident Technical College. Oversees the daily operation of the InterTech Wellness Center. The Director reports to the AVP for Human Resources.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience required. Bachelor’s degree in physical education, therapeutic recreation, exercise physiology or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience preferred. Must possess certified personal trainer credentials through an approved professional organization and current First aid training and CPR certification. Supervisory experience desired.
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of weight training, exercise physiology and aerobics is essential. Must be able to work flexible hours to cover the wellness center hours and for other special events as needed. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make independent decision with discretion.
