This position focuses on creating ADA-compliant UX design solutions for various website templates, ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and screen sizes. The role involves conducting user testing for the website, optimizing it for search engines, and tracking website metrics. Additionally, the website designer leads a project team of college participants to gather, evaluate, and update website content.

This position requires an associate degree in art and experience in graphics programs. Preferred candidate will have an associate degree in media arts, information technology, or related field with work experience using graphic design software.

Experience with the Modern Campus CMS is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing and implementing front-end website UI/UX solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as creating digital and printed marketing materials. Qualified applicants must demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate marketing messages through the confident and aesthetic use of design principles, utilizing software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other relevant design and web coding applications. Additionally, candidates should possess skills in effectively conveying marketing messages through the strategic application of UX design principles, using appropriate design, coding, and code management tools.
