The Success Coach will provide organizational information and services to students in single areas or across several areas, including admissions, registration, orientation, financial aid, academic advising, counseling, and career services. Responsibilities include:

• Navigating students through the onboarding process.
• Coordinating academic support for assigned programs.
• Using technology to monitor program and performance progress as appropriate.
• Counseling students on financial aid.
• Referring students to appropriate counseling services.
• Reviewing and accepting onboarding documents.
• Receiving and addressing early alert notifications.
• Overall office operations.

This position is located at the Dorchester Campus, and reports to the Director of the Student Success Center at the Thornley Campus.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.

Experience and knowledge in student services, Ellucian's Colleague product, and technology background are preferred. One (1) year of experience working with a computerized student information system or technological software in a college environment is also preferred. Knowledge of federal regulations (FERPA) and higher education policies and procedures is essential. Must work effectively and efficiently in small groups and a public atmosphere. Must understand the concepts and operation of the computerized databases and other utilized office programs. Must have the ability to problem-solve and multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
