This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Berkeley Mental Health Center, Moncks Corner, SC 29461
As the Administrative Coordinator working under limited supervision, provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director and Executive Leadership Team. Perform a wide variety of complex, administrative duties.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator:- Coordinate administrative and support activities for the Executive Leadership team, including the Executive Director, Assistant Director, QA Director and Medical Director. Serve as assistant to the Executive Director and as liaison between the Clinic, Board of Directors, County Council and Legislative Delegation. Organize schedules, manages official business, directs correspondence to the appropriate executive leadership. Transcribe and share various minutes with appropriate parties for designated meetings and committees. Prepare and maintain specialized reports, including those related to clinical services provision for community education. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality as part of Leadership meetings.
- Act as liaison with BCMHC Board of Directors. Arrange and manage logistics for Board related events. Draft, compile and distribute meeting packets, reports and supporting material. Communicate with County Legislative delegations' administrative staff regarding appointments and re-appointments. Ensure good communication and continuity of members, keeping related records and coordinating stipends funding requests.
- Help ensure the Center is CARF ready. Assist with annual and ongoing Center policy updates/reviews and provide consultation on administrative policies. Ensure required satisfaction survey distribution/collection and create reports. Provide administrative support during CARF onsite reviews and scheduling.
- Coordinate personnel training activities for MAPS and CPR/First Aid, ensuring tracking of staff who have completed, notifying of due dates and securing rooms.
- Assist in coordinating various regulatory tasks in support of QA and Medical Director. Coordinate and monitor Adverse Incident reporting procedures to ensure timely reporting. Coordinate renewal of DHEC and DEA applications for agency. Tracks licensure supervision and training payback agreements and completion.
- Provide administrative support to various committees and assist the Executive Directive in scheduling/coordinating community events. Serves on QI, Safety and Employee Appreciation Committees.
- Comply with Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plans, abides by all local, state and federal laws to ensure prevention od abuse, fraud and/or waste and follow all BHDD/OMH/BCMHC policies.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in human resources and/or administrative services
- Ability to lift 10 pounds.
