Job Responsibilities
- This employee will be responsible for completing tasks on the Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project.
Job Duties Include:- Working on Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project properties including:
- Samworth, Santee Coastal, Santee Delta.
- Efficiently operating a long reach trackhoe.
- Constructing dikes and re-topping dikes as needed.
- Maintaining trackhoe and conducting preventative maintenance.
- Operating other heavy equipment as needed on the Project.
- Assisting with the installation of water control structures.
- Supporting Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project where needed (i.e. hunting, burning and/or maintenance activities).
- Working on Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project properties including:
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma and four (4) years of experience in a specialized trades area.
Ability to obtain a CDL and Captains license.Preferred Qualifications
Ability to proficiently and safely operate a long reach trackhoe. Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to heavy equipment. Ability to work off of mats and in remote areas with the trackhoe. Ability to safely operate a boat and motor. Ability to operate bulldozer, backhoe and other heavy equipment.
