Base Pay + Commissions. The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The Inside Sales Representative identifies new business opportunities by developing new prospects, acquiring new customers, and interacting with existing customers to solicit orders and influence purchase behavior. This position involves cold-calling potential clients, client business referrals, and conference/web leads. The Inside Sales Representative can also be responsible for providing sales support and customer service for specific customers and engaging specific upselling campaigns. Being energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue is an essential part of this position.
A day in the life of an Inside Sales Rep. at Thorne requires the employee to:
- Prospect and build a pipeline of potential leads from business directories, web searches, competitor professional directories, conferences/tradeshows, and other prepared listings.
- Cold call prospective clients; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies.
- Create sales cadences and campaigns and track performance and success.
- Analyze sales messaging to improve client conversation.
- Analyze sales messaging to increase revenue.
- Influence customers to buy products and services by explaining product and service features.
- Recommend products and solicit orders based on customer needs and interests.
- Close new accounts by identifying and calling on accounts that have signed up but not purchased.
- Analyze and upsell existing accounts based on customer buying history; suggest related and new products; explain technical features based on customer-identified needs.
- Perform online demonstrations for customers of the Company’s products and services.
- Complete correct orders by recording name, address, and purchase, and process the order for fulfillment.
- Create plan to meet daily, weekly, and monthly telephone and email communication goals in accordance with overall strategic plan.
- Log and record each outreach made, in CRM, to produce regular activity reports.
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- Analyze and summarize competitor information and trends to identify new sales opportunities.
- Perform assigned administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets, sales records, etc.
- Promote the Company’s Mission and Values, including an accountable, innovative, and results-oriented culture that promotes customer service, openness, teamwork, mutual trust, and respect.
This is a FLSA Exempt position.
Employment is contingent on satisfactory results from a drug screening and background and reference checks.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree- preferred
- 2+ years minimum relevant experience
- Salesforce software experience strongly preferred
