The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking an Aeronautical Systems and Integration Test (ASIT) Manager to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing ASIT program deliverables for multiple Air Dominance and Phantom Works programs. The scope of responsibility for the ASIT team includes design, integration and sustaining support of System Integration Labs (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulators (HILS), and Vehicle Management System (VMS) Labs. The position works closely with BT&E leadership, Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) leadership, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and the BT&E ASIT Enterprise Capability Leader on functional excellence.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Manage employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines
Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies, procedures and sets operational goals
Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight, approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manage, develop and motivate employees
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
Experience integrating and testing aircraft electronic systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
5+ years of experience in leading technical teams
5+ years of experience with financial planning, resource planning and cost management activities
2+ years of experience working with multiple engineering disciplines necessary to successfully integrate avionics and/or electric systems hardware
Experience with aircraft test and/or lab test execution
Strong business and strategic planning skills

Summary Pay Range: $141,100 - $190,900
Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified External candidates.
