Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO or Arlington, VA.
This position will provide high-level executive support to the Vice President of Phantom Works Tech Base. This role serves as a key coordinator for leadership communications, meeting preparation, strategic planning, action tracking, and cross-functional alignment. The selected candidate will help manage priorities, monitor milestones and risks, prepare executive materials and status updates, and maintain effective office operations while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides direct executive support to the Phantom Works Tech Base Vice President
Coordinates and oversees meeting logistics, agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up actions
Oversight and execution of drafting, editing, formatting, and distributing correspondence, reports, presentations, and executive communications
Tracks commitments, deadlines, deliverables, and action items on behalf of the Vice President.
Supports and coordinate strategic planning initiatives, special projects, and leadership-directed activities.
Monitors project milestones, risks, decisions, and issue resolution.
Prepares status updates, dashboards, and summary materials for leadership review.
Facilitates communication and alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
Maintains efficient executive office processes, records, and administrative systems.
Handles confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
Supports office operations including approvals, documentation, procurement requests, and administrative follow-up as needed.
Anticipates executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling, communication, and coordination issues.
Manages employee(s) performing business management activities in the area of Program Management for the Tech Base.
Represents the Vice President’s office with professionalism, sound judgment, and tact
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
5+ years’ experience managing or leading people or teams
5+ years’ experience supporting senior level executives
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience and/or the ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, program management, or a related technical discipline
Experience in advanced technologies and/or advanced systems
Experience supporting executive leadership in aerospace, defense, engineering, or technology environments
Experience in a matrixed organization with cross-functional stakeholder coordination
Experience with project management tools, reporting, and process improvement practices
Experience supporting senior leader meetings, briefings, and executive presentations
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $146,200 - $211,600
