About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to support our Battlespace Communications Systems Enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for the Australian Defence Force and other international customers.

Boeing's Battlespace Communications System is the Australian Defence Force's next generation command, control and communications system which connects deployed forces.

This role is based in Brisbane, with relocation support considered for the suitably identified candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders across Defence and within Boeing to align Boeing's value proposition with Defence's needs.
  • Analyse the Australian Defence Force's requirements for Joint C4 capabilities and contribute to the future capability strategy.
  • Lead new business campaigns involving Boeing's battlespace communications capabilities and associated services.
  • Lead a multi-discipline team to create compelling offers that showcase the best of Boeing.
  • Develop a strong and effective stakeholder network across Defence, Boeing, and other suppliers.
  • Provide information and decision briefs to senior business leaders.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Australian Defence Organisation and Defence capability development is highly regarded.
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Operational experience with ADF battlespace communications capabilities will be highly regarded

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. A current Defence security clearance would be highly regarded.
