Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a BSC Engineering Site Strategy Sr. Manager(Level L) to join the BSC EngineeringSite Transformation and Future Readiness organization in North Charleston, SC.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and influences employees and managers that develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion
Collaborates with the 787 Program, site, and enterprise on engineering strategy
Responsible for integrating multi organizational plans for engineering site strategy around People, Product and Innovation
Responsible for readiness and standard gates adherence, including development and oversight of the engineering technical roadmap to ensure enablers in design, technology and processes support current and future rate needs with robust execution, plans and cadence to align to site and program requirements
Work with the IPT's, Partners and Suppliers to ensure engineering readiness via project management and improvements
Strong strategic mindset, relationship and operational excellence, as well as knowledge, development and implementation of a management system is required to lead across all levels.
Leads people development strategy and responsible for leading first line managers
Manages and executes to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business
Inspires and empowers the team through collaboration, communication, and caring
Builds and nurtures a welcoming culture by seeking different perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders
Aligns with Boeing’s Values and Behaviors, ensuring an emotionally safe work environment where employees can freely and proactively raise safety, quality and schedule concerns as soon as they are known
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor degree
3+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of experience with the project/program management
Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+ years of experience as second line leader
Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
Strong communication skills and working directly with executives or senior leaders
Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work

Summary Pay Range: $146,200 to $197,800
