BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to support the Program Planning & Integration team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the 787 Program Management team with the ability to take on Highly complex Projects and drive integration across multiple functions
  • Ensure coordination, management, and delivery of program and project deliverables within the relevant scope
  • Develop and implement large-scale, high impact integrated organizational plans to ensure strategic business, technical and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Pro-actively communicate with leadership team, peers and customers.
  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists stakeholders to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of combined education and relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Leadership experience in a change management team
  • Interfacing with program leadership
  • Ability to provide analysis and strategic guidance to peer functions: Engineering, Fabrication and Supply Chain

Level 4 Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850

Level 5 Summary pay range: $146,200 - $197,800
