Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our Supply Chain Operations team. You will be located in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance

  • Collaboration with others; communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns

  • Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements

  • Identifies needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self-assessment) to supplier for improvement or enhancement of delivery performance

  • Participates in on-site supplier assessments with the procurement agent (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement & support Boeing procurement strategy

  • Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan; assesses supplier resource plans

  • Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes

  • Supports work movement

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with suppliers

  • 1+ years of experience with Velocity system or similar system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with production teams

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams & prioritizing milestones

  • 3+ years of experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis, presentations, and communication

  • Experience in a strategic role

Summary pay range: $99,450 - $134,550
