Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist to join the Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina.
BCA is looking for inspectors that want to be part of a fast pace exciting team, that builds the best carbon fiber widebody aircraft in the world!
Position Responsibilities:
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
Identifies and documents discrepancies.
Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently.
Prior education or experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing operations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
1 or more years inspecting aircraft structures
1 or more years inspecting electrical systems
1 or more years inspecting carbon fiber
787 Program Experience.
Experience in a team environment.

This position is for a variable shift. Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation of the need.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
summary pay range: $49,000 - $52,000
