Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Materials Management Manager (Level K) to join our Fulfillment team based in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This onsite position will provide oversight & leadership to individual contributors for Boeing South Carolina Operations within the 787 Program supporting Final Assembly. You will be located in building 88-45.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employee’s activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Possesses a mindset of safety and quality; influences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in materials management and/or supply chain management

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • Willingness to work any shift assigned based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 3+ years leading critical projects

  • Experience with safety and quality processes

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment

  • Aerospace or manufacturing experience

  • Self-motivated, works well independently

Shift:

This position is 1st shift.

Summary pay range: $107,100 - $130,900
