Emergent Operations in Charleston, SC, a Fabrication Division of Boeing Commercial Airplanes -South Carolina is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to support the Emergent Operations team. This role will require individuals that are capable of adapting to a dynamic team with critical deliverables and urgent factory support. They will need to have the ability to collaborate with others while keeping a “think outside the box” mindset. teammate will be expected to interface with global partners and internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
- Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
- Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
- Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
- Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 or more years NC programming experience
- 3 or more years 5 Axis Machining
- Proficient in CATIA V5 Programming
- Proficient in Vericut
- Experience interpreting GD&T and can apply the concepts for programming.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Computing knowledge basic operation, Microsoft office product.
- Candidate has an aptitude for abstract reasoning.
- Ability to collaborate with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor.
- Familiar with Velocity and CMES environment.
- The ability to interpret data and make recommendations for possible solutions

Salary:
Mid-Level 85,000-115,000
Senior Level: 102,000-138,000
