Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking an Experienced or Senior Construction Project Management Specialist to join our Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) team in North Charleston, SC. In this key role, you will lead a wide range of design and construction projects, from straightforward renovations to highly complex builds, supporting diverse and high-impact facilities infrastructure portfolio.
We’re looking for an experienced project management professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes and industry best practices. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in overseeing exciting construction expansion projects and infrastructure initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects as a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager
Manage all construction activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established timelines and budgets
Develop comprehensive construction management plans using Boeing Project Management Best Practices that outline project scope, stakeholders, role responsibilities, communication matrix, financials, timelines, and resource allocation
Oversee the entire construction process from pre-construction planning through project completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications
Establish and enforce safety and quality control standards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Participate in equipment make/buy decisions; participate in source selection and provide technical oversight of suppliers
Serve as the backup delegate for our Facilities Management maintenance support representative, as needed
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other internal and external partners
Monitor project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status, financials, schedule, risks, and opportunities
Prepare and present detailed project reports, including financial analysis, to executive leadership for transparency and accountability
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges, ensuring proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a large construction projects, facilities management and or large project management
5+ years of experience developing and/or managing project schedules and budgets
5+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts)
Experience in leading cross-functional and/or project teams
Experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, project management, or a related field
Certifications in PMP, Six Sigma, Scaled Agile SM/RTE or equivalent
10+ years of experience in project management or financial management
10+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans.
10+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management
Manage several simple and complex projects simultaneously
Experience with contract management, invoice management/reconciliation, and vendor management
Experience developing strategic Long Range Business Plans

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $107,950 - $146,050
