The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior System Design & Integration Specialist to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; or Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Senior System Design & Integration Specialist to serve as the Environment Readiness and Infrastructure Focal for our Data Integrations legacy modernization initiative. This role is essential to ensure that all server and infrastructure components are provisioned, configured, and ready to support planned modernization deliverables across all phases of build, test, and production deployment. It combines project coordination, systems migration, and delivery readiness expertise. The ideal candidate thrives in cross-functional environments, understands system design and deployment lifecycle, and can drive environment readiness plans across multiple teams with urgency, structure, and clear communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead environment readiness planning and coordination across multiple application teams and modernization phases
Ensure the right servers are built in the right place, at the right time, in the right way to support delivery milestones
Create and manage infrastructure build sequencing plans for each environment phase (dev/test/stage/prod)
Coordinate the build, configuration, deployment, software installation, and release readiness for each server/environment
Serve as point of contact for all environment-related issues, including delays, blockers, or cross-team dependencies
Develop and maintain infrastructure readiness artifacts and dashboards
Report on infrastructure status, risk, and progress at team and leadership levels
Coordinate system design decisions, reviews, and implementation activities across environments
Own and maintain the legacy Proof of Concept (POC) environment (ITX3) for reference and testing during modernization
Support decommissioning planning, environment right-sizing, and release planning
Drive end-to-end environment alignment for all planned modernization “blockpoint” releases
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in systems integration, infrastructure coordination, or environment readiness
3+ years of experience with infrastructure build sequencing, system deployment, and environment lifecycle
Experience supporting complex application migrations or modernization programs
Experience coordinating across infrastructure, application, product, and release management teams
Experience creating and managing technical readiness artifacts and reporting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with middleware, or enterprise integration platforms
Experience with Agile delivery environments and release planning
Experience with environment provisioning in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
Experience with DevOps practices and configuration management tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $120,700 – $174,800
