Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) is currently seeking a Mid-Level Transformational Network Designer to join the team in either North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Titusville, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Miami, FL; San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Kings Mountain, NC; Fayetteville, NC; Ridley Park, PA; Huntsville, AL or Englewood, CO.

This position will focus on transformational excellence, product management, and creation and maintenance of network infrastructure in our manufacturing, service, and office locations around the globe.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes current business, work intake, workflow, and agile processes and recommends enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance
  • Encourages and supports a culture that embraces change, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and delivery teams on the transformational path and future vision
  • Identifies, analyzes, and documents requirements for network Local Area Networks (LAN) technologies and services (e.g., voice, video, data, wireless, cable, wire) based on customer goals, objectives, cost and security constraints, to lead the design process
  • Works collaboratively with other stakeholders in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams
  • Supports and participates in component research to provide input for more comprehensive evaluation
  • Coordinates high level implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plan
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience coaching and mentoring others through agile processes
  • 3+ years of experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement
  • 3+ years of experience leading change management and process
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying an integrated strategy
  • 3+ years of experience with leading teams
  • 1+ years of experience with an agile work environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • 1+ years of experience in developing presentations, integrating technical & non-technical content

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to navigate and develop strategic solutions in dynamic, evolving environments
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
  • Experience with agile product management
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization


Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Work Shift:

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $136,850
