Job Summary and Qualifications
Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the PET/CT Suite and Nuclear Medicine Department in main hospital. Operations in all areas of the TDS services, as well as PET/CT and NM Departments, and helps manage the staff level technologists in the Medical Arts Building. Responsibilities include checking the diagnostic quality of images, training all appropriate department staff, and respond to questions from both Medical Physicians and other hospital departments, and maintain community relations. Provide strategic direction for the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine departments. Promote staff development and maintain a healthy work environment. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of area Supervisor.
What qualifications you will need:
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB.
- SCRQSA Required
- ARRT (CT)required within 6 months of hire.
- (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS
- Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program. Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- CT Registry certification completed preferred.
- Experience as a PET/CT Technologist preferred.
- Supervisorial experience as a Nuclear Medicine leader preferred.
- Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal and external customer.
