Job Overview
The Operations Process Engineer will be a key team member in supporting the start-up and continued success of the Device Assembly Operations at a newly constructed state-of-the-art facility located in North Charleston SC. The Operations Process Engineer will be an established engineering with extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering and a working knowledge of Electrical Engineering. This position will be provided the opportunity to train abroad in Taiwan.
Main Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for Mechanical Processes to ensure consistent operations
- Work as an informal lead to all Operations Technical Staff
- Directly responsible for all equipment PMs to include weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual
- Constantly Improve Machine Operations such that waste and productivity operate at optimal levels
- Work as the operational lead on all Machine related quality issues that result in a CAPA process
- Ability to effectively work as part of a highly talented highly technical team
- Work with Operational Leadership and HR to ensure that a pipeline of talent is developed
- Provide and support CI initiatives to continually improve our operation
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Operational and / or Plant Leadership
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering- Preferred) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated success in a highly automated high volume facility
- Prior experience in highly regulated industry highly preferred
- SME level knowledge of process automation technology
- Average knowledge of SAP and MES systems
- Excellent communication skills
