Mold Maintenance Supervisor

REPORTS TO : Lamination Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mold Maintenance Supervisor will work with and lead a team of 2+ Mold Technicians. The Mold Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all molds and prepping them for use. The technician will sand molds and do any patchwork and repair as needed.

KEY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for receiving and prepping molds for gelcoat
* Responsible for making sure all repairs on completed in an accurate timely manner according to production schedule
* Must be proficient in using small hand tools including grinders, sanders, drills, saws, etc,
* Will help in construction of new molds
* Supervise, develop and train employees
* Responsible for enforcing safety and a safe working environment
* Follow the Team leader's directions in coordinating people and work.
* Perform startup and shutdown tasks according to processes.
* Responsible for quality, cost control, scheduling.
* Fully understands the handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and emergency procedures.

* 5+ years of Mold Maintenance Experience
* 2+ years of Supervisory Experience
* Strong leadership, Communication and Organization Skills
* Good physical condition. No limiting factors that prevents free movement of all body parts or balance.
