Description

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Card Operations Representative to join our team of outstanding Card Operations professionals in North Charleston, SC.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for providing superior service during every interaction with both internal employees and external members.
  • Responsible for answering telephone calls related to card inquiries and issues for both internal employees and external members.
  • Responsible for researching, resolving and responding timely to card inquiries and issues or escalating to the appropriate team member or management when necessary.
  • Responsible for handling debit card disputes related to fraud and non-fraud situations.
  • Responsible for preparing and mailing member notifications.
  • Responsible for department's record retention practices and compliance.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining department supplies.
  • Responsible for retrieval and distribution of interoffice mail.
  • Responsible for ensuring all desk procedures/documentation pertaining to duties are accurate/current.
  • Responsible for performing various administrative tasks as requested by management.
  • Responsible for providing support for department activities as needed.
  • Responsible for providing support to other team members as needed.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Possess a minimum of two years of similar or related experience in a service work environment.
  • Possess the ability to provide superior member/customer service.
  • Possess proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to perform duties with accuracy and speed in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Possess the ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Possess the ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Possess demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Possess proficient mathematical skills.

NOTE: Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
