SAIC is seeking a CAD Operator for a position supporting multiple projects at our customer location in Hanahan, SC.
This position is 100% onsite at our Hanahan, SC office.
Job Duties:
- Familiarity with multiple CAD platforms including Inventor and SolidWorks.
- Convert and/or recreate Inventor files in SolidWorks.
- Learn multiple project’s Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs) as well as the interoperability of system components.
- The knowledge and drive to continuously improve the Project’s repository of Drawing files.
- Work with the Project Engineer to develop Drawings of components.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track and communicate tasking status to supervisors and managers.
- Participate in quarterly Project Management Reviews and Physical Configuration Audits as necessary.
- Utilize industry tools/tracking applications for drawing reviews, version control and storage of Drawings with an extremely disciplined version/revision control.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED; Two (2) years or more of work experience.
- Experience drafting and illustrating in the electronics field to include: computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD.
- SolidWorks Experience.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret Clearance before starting
