Description
The Primary Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating all logistics activities within the FMS program to include testing, prototyping, first article and production stages of integration. This role ensures efficient movement and storage of goods, optimal supply chain operations, and timely delivery of products and materials. The logistician will work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations including procurement, inventory, and warehousing.
- Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and inventory levels.
- Develop and enforce logistics policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Resolve any issues or disruptions in the supply chain promptly.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with international logistics and import/export regulations.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Experience with CMPro or GCSS.
