Description
SAIC is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to join our team in North Charleston, SC. This position is 100% on site.
The Material Handling Laborer will:
- Exercise care in the use of company equipment and tools
- Observe all safety programs and practices
- Assemble orders and kits of materials, parts, and assemblies for transfer to production and shipping
- Record and document material receipts, transfers, and inventory accounting
- Examine material(s) to verify damage and report discrepancies
- Compute amount of material(s) needed for specific job orders
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word and Excel in particular)
- Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Desirable:
- Previous warehouse experience
