Description
SAIC is looking for a Tech Analyst to ensure conformance of incoming material for all (GBAD) Ground base air defense, specifically (MADIS) Marine Air Defense Integrated systems.
JOB DUTIES:
• Conduct inspections of incoming parts and First Article Inspections (FAI) using functional, design, process, and other contractual requirements for electrical parts, mechanical parts, and assemblies.
• In-process inspections prior to the customer inspections. Verified subassemblies and installations met requirements to commercial and military engineering drawing specifications, workmanship standards, and that the applicable documentation was completed. Recorded observations and trends of product quality to identify areas that needed improvement.
• Coordinate inspection findings with the quality team members, production leads, the applicable engineer to promote better quality in the production process and product and improve customer satisfaction. Documented findings, observations, or anomalies in accordance with nonconformance systems and procedures providing the Supplier Quality Engineers with trends in vendor product quality and performance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Six (6) years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Thorough understanding of software QA processes and best practices.
• Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and provide innovative and effective solutions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficient in software testing methods, test case creation, and defect tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct and lead walkthroughs of test cases/scripts with cross-functional teams including, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.
• Proficiency in documenting test results and reporting progress to management.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work under general direction and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
