SAIC is seeking Material Coordinator for our customer site in Hanahan, SC.
The Material Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Receiving material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in. Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed.
- Coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.
- Compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck.
- Maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint.
This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
