SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC to support the US Navy to install cable, mounting kits and other equipment in radio rooms of new construction submarines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work with others who prepare design drawings and assist with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.
• Integrate and fabricate cables.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in engineering technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, Class A or B Military school in electronics or communications; or four year electronics apprentice program and ten (10) years of experience.
• Must have four (4) years of C4ISR OR C5ISR experience in the last eight (8) years.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to hire, SAIC will help to obtain.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
