SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level Drone Assembly Technician in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in drone technology and possess basic technical skills.

Job Duties:

• Assemble components and systems of unmanned aerial vehicles according to provided specifications.
• Troubleshoot and address technical issues during the assembly process.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols throughout the assembly process.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Strong interest in drone technology and a basic understanding of electronics.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and work with precision tools.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
