Description
Seeking a Configuration Manager (Technical Analyst 2) to support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs in Charleston, SC.
Leverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for hardware, software and documentation.
Maintain ownership of the project's Configuration Management Plan, facilitate Configuration Control Boards, and support the establishment of the Configuration Management Library.
Provide support for planning and producing a process for reporting and recording changes to installed baseline equipment.
Coordinate the interaction between engineering, integration team, logistics, and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors of Science degree
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in configuration management or logistics
- Experience with performing functions, including Life Cycle Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Verification and Audit, or Data Management
- Knowledge of the software release process
- Knowledge of Configuration Management technology operating systems, including Windows, Sybase, or Oracle based products.
- Strong working knowledge of Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO)
- Secret clearance or higher, can support up to TS/SCI
Desired Quals:
- 5+ years of experience as a configuration manager supporting IT programs
