SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator for our customer site in Hanahan, SC.

Job Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

• Will be primarily tasked with preparing and arranging materials for transfer between projects.
• Provide assistance loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Will be required to obtain a forklift license
• Provide assistance verifying materials against receiving documents , reporting and noting discrepancies and obvious damages .
• Preparing materials for shipment.
• Communicate with leadership, other team members, and the customer.
• Picking up and Delivering material using a pickup truck and box truck.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current SC Driver’s License
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Must be willing to Drive and operate up to a 26' Box Truck
• Must be able to safely complete all the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment , including but not limited to the following:

-Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis

-Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, or squatting for extended periods.

-A familiarity with material handling tools such as shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, tape guns, power drills, ect.

-Familiarity with using a computer and basic program like word and excel.

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
