  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate closely with technical teams, including engineers, integrators, and drafters to ensure system compatibility and performance standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manage the project budget, ensuring that all financial objectives are met and optimizing resource allocation and expenses.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide progress reports to SAIC leadership, Navy clients, and other relevant parties.
  • Address and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during the project lifecycle, employing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Navy and federal regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and encouraging professional growth.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • At least 7 years of project management experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working on defense-related projects, specifically in C5ISR systems integration.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects in a defense or maritime environment.
  • Familiarity with Navy shipboard systems and operational environments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance at the required level.
