In the role of R&O Technician I, you'll play a pivotal part on our Repairs team.

This position contributes to our vision by:
Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Inspector(s) are responsible for performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Utilizes assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical and visual aids applicable to the scope of work assigned. Understands the methods, techniques and practices outlined in the manufacturer's maintenance documents, Airworthiness Directives, service bulletins, service letters, specifications, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.

The expected hourly range for this position is between $19.00 - $23.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Job Requirements:
1. Must possess basic math skills and be able to comprehend varying units of measure
2. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and take initiative
3. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
4. Ability to read, comprehend written and process specification documents
5. Computer skills to access CMM's, drawings, etc.
6. Specific FAA required training

Physical Requirements:
a. Ability to lift about 55 pounds
b. Employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or operate controls and reach with hands and arms.
c. Ability to walk throughout the facility
d. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
e. As with all positions, employee will perform necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
