Digital Marketing/Automation Specialist

Reports to: Director of Digital Strategy

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

Collaborates with the Director of Digital Strategy to ensure that RSFH’s website, SEO and marketing automation strategies support the organization’s growth and retention goals and provide the best possible digital experience for its customers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Works with the marketing team and our organization’s web development vendor-partner to ensure that the company website is up-to-date, on brand, functioning properly, and fully optimized to drive organic search results. Provides ongoing SEO assessment and makes content edits and basic back-end updates when possible, engaging the web development vendor-partner for more extensive needs.

  • Monitors online reputation sites, responds to both positive comments and complaints using established messaging, and works closely with the Department of Quality & Safety as needed to create appropriate responses when complaints involve clinical care.

  • Understands RSFH’s key audiences across the lifecycle, knowing their needs and behaviors, and creating efficiencies using the marketing automation platform.

  • Ensures that automation strategies are fully integrated into all marketing plans by working closely with members of the Marketing and Communications Department.

  • Manages email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment; continually evaluates for improvement opportunities.

  • Works with team members to define campaign KPIs, analyze campaign performance, provide regular progress reports, and recommend adjustments for maximum results against goals.

  • Plans and performs A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to campaign response, conversion rates, and ROI.

  • Stays current with best practices in web strategies and marketing automation, and brings ideas and recommendations to the team.

Work Experience

  • Five years of experience in communications, marketing, web development, CRM and/or marketing automation. Experience in the healthcare industry highly preferred, but not required.

Skills

A solid understanding of web principles and standards including usability, design, SEO, information architecture and web reporting tools; a solid understanding of marketing automation and its potential, applications, management, and reporting. Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Works effectively as part of a team, while also able to accomplish assignments independently as needed. Keen attention to details, with particular emphasis on follow- up and follow-through. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and PhotoShop, Basic HTML and web design.
