Additional Information: This position will provide Materials Clerk responsibilities with some Materials Tech responsibilities.
Job Summary:
Under directions of the Logistics Manager, the Materials Clerk is will have one of two job functions:
PAR and Inventory Management – Replenishes multiple PAR supply locations daily. Picks items from the general storeroom inventory. Fills on demand supply requests. Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of each PAR location. Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the general storeroom and Materials Management work area. Routinely checks PAR locations and general storeroom inventory for expired products. Implements product conversions and assists with communication as needed. Assists with inventory cycle counts.

Supply and Equipment Delivery and Inventory Management – Utilizing supply tracking software and hardware, the Materials Clerk is responsible for the delivery and tracking of all equipment and supplies delivered to each hospital. Also assists departments in returning equipment and supplies to Materials Management for return to vendors. Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the general storeroom and Materials Management work area. Routinely checks general storeroom inventory for expired products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or GED
Experience: One year experience in a storeroom or warehouse, preferable in Hospital Materials Management.
Licensure/Certification: None
Knowledge/Skills: Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills. Ability to provide excellent customer service while working as a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Basic computer skills including MS Windows. Proficient in PMM Pathways, with Supply Tracking System and the ability to use hand held scanners preferred. Self directed and able to work independently. Ability to operate standard office equipment (ex. fax machine, printers, PC’s). Can handle supply carts and can operate cardboard compactor, manual and powered pallet jacks.
