A reliable Dispatcher who will be responsible to coordinating resources, personnel, and information to ensure efficient and effective operations. They receive and process calls, dispatch appropriate personnel (like service technicians), and relay critical information to those in the field. Dispatchers must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
Essential Job Functions
- Requires the ability to use office equipment, Microsoft Office, copier, telephone, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to callers, service technicians, supervisors and manager.
- Follow established guidelines or use best judgment, addressing unexpected situations, resolving conflicts, and finding solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining composure and focus in stressful situations.
- Evaluate each call to determine the appropriate level of response needed and prioritize based on the severity of the situation.
- Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing calls, and managing various responsibilities.
- Keeping accurate logs of calls, dispatches, and other relevant information
- Building rapport with other team members.
