Days (United States of America)Job Summary: To coordinate Roper St. Francis Healthcare physician offices' operations. These activities include but are not limited to human resources, practice management across all offices, customer service, marketing and sales, community health, fiscal performance and process improvement. To also recruit new providers and assist with integrating new providers and acquired practices into the RSFHC system as well as assist with opening new practice locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience; Bachelor’s Degree in business, health administration, or a related field with 4 years of experience or 9 years of relevant experience to include at least 5 years managing physician office operations. Marketing or healthcare related experience preferred. Mature professional with prior direct sales, business development or marketing experience; previous work experience with physicians highly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of physician practice start up, front desk procedures, billing/collections/insurance, medical records, staffing, monitoring and evaluation, practice development, marketing and sales, and human resource management. Knowledge of health care administration, policy and procedure development, fiscal management, and staff development. Skill and abilities to coordinate performance and process improvement to include benchmarking, work in a team environment, implement and oversee inventory control, and implement and oversee appropriate labor productivity based on industry norms. Skill in developing and coordinating staffing levels across all physician offices. Ability to incorporate basic supervisory and management principles into everyday business practice. Skill and ability in developing effective relationships with physicians, advisory boards, regulators, staff, peers, and the general public. Ability to communicate clearly. Skill in problem solving and decision making.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and the skill and ability to meet these standards throughout all physician practices. Skill in developing and implementing job descriptions. Skill and ability to handle conflict resolution. Skill and ability as a participant in committee activities and as facilitator.

Work Demands/Environment:
Frequent sitting. Intermittent walking, standing, stooping, bending. May require lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant talking or hearing. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. No exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, and/or irregular hours. Ability to read and comprehend. Will be required to be onsite at various physician practice locations, as needed. If driving personal vehicle between locations during the workday, must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

1. Human Resources:
Responsible for day-to-day supervision of office and practice managers, supervisors and other practice personnel. Measured by annual evaluation. Determines and maintains staffing levels as defined but budgetary requirements. Ensures hiring and disciplinary policies and procedures are maintained across all personnel in physician practices. Coordinates timely performance appraisals. Measured by review of annual performance
appraisals completed and on time to Human Resources. Recommends professional development for staff. provides meaningful coaching and mentoring to increase the capabilities of individuals and teams and drive employee engagement.

2. Fiscal Management:
Analyzes business and conduct audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Identifies practice and business development opportunities to increase practice market share. Develops, implements and monitors practice budgets including analyzing financial impact of changes and forecasts, and expenditures. Develops cost/benefit analyses of patient care services and equipment. Meets regularly with applicable operations teams and/or physicians to review financial indicators and updates.

3. Regulatory Requirements:
Develops and oversees implementation and administration of internal practice policies and procedures in conjunction with Physician Services standard policies and procedures. Interprets applicable laws, rules and regulations and ensures the practice is in compliance with them.

4. Strategy, Growth & Planning: In conjunction with internal stakeholders is responsible for the creation or and implementation of RSFH initiatives into the operations setting of practices and/programs. Directs and manages projects for market including patient flow, patient satisfaction, practice volume, billing and collections, service utilization, coding, physician and staff training. Oversees practice acquisition activities. Develops and/or updates physician practice business plans in conjunction with senior leadership. Measured by completion of business plans and productivity growth of the practice(s) and/or physician(s). Provides input to marketing and sales liaisons to increase the market share of identified physician

Quality: Monitors patient satisfaction survey results on a monthly basis. Providing guidance to improving processes as identified through results. Measured by CGCAHPS and Loyalty scores. Monitors and oversees employee satisfaction. Measured by Employee Engagement. Responsible for coordination and communication of quality metrics applicable to physician(s) and/or practice(s).

Recruitment: Coordinates physician and APP recruitment efforts. To include: posting of the job, reviewing applicants, organizing interviews and ultimately walking the provider through the on-boarding process. Measured by successful provider hires and the ‘Application and Hiring Evaluation.’
