Shift: Temporary full time.
This is a temporary summer Administrative Internship.
The Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH) Administrative Intern provides general assistance to a department for special projects and short-term assignments. This position provides hands-on learning opportunities in a healthcare environment, tailored to the intern's educational background and organizational needs. Duties and responsibilities vary based on assignment and needs of RSFH.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides administrative and clerical support, including data entry, report preparation and scheduling, to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Completes projects as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring attention to detail and effective communication with team members.
- Attends staff meetings and organizational events to gain professional exposure and insight.
- Maintains strict confidentiality when handling sensitive data related to projects and organizational operations.
Licensing/Certification:
- N/A
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a college program or recently graduated (within the last six months).
- Junior or senior year of study preferred, pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
Work Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
