Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The incumbent is responsible for driving a semi-truck to picking up freight at local port and delivering to a specified location.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive assigned company truck to local ports
• Rail work and local LTL from time to time as well as airport runs
• Drop & hook, no touch freight
• Comply with all DOT and company safe driving rules
• Maintain a clean truck
• Maintain a driver log
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Knowledge of ocean piers in Los Angeles and Long Beach
• Ability to drive and maneuver vehicles
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-year commercial truck driving experience delivering to local ports
• Clean driving record
• Must have current medical card, TWIC card and California Class A driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test & road test
