Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales is an individual contributor who will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth within the logistics industry. This is a sales leadership position with full pipeline responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the logistics sector, with specific experience in warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunter mentality with a focus on acquisition of new customer logos
  • Executing plans and strategies for developing new business and achieving company sales goals and profitability
  • Maintaining successful and ongoing business relationships and goal achievement
  • Achieving quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of all Regal services
  • Executes sales initiatives, while leveraging operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Contributor and participant in sales training programs that enable achieving company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions utilizing Salesforce CRM
  • Monitor industry trends, customer, market and competitor activity while providing feedback to the leadership team and relevant company stakeholders
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners
  • Participate in strategic account planning and development
  • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, sales potential, and pricing competitiveness
  • Relationships liaison between customers and Regal staff
  • Communicates frequently with customers to ensure satisfaction, while communicating with operations for corrective action opportunities
  • Represents Regal at tradeshows and industry related meetings to promote services
  • Monitor and regularly manage pipeline to ensure sales leads are progressing through funnel
  • Ensures that new accounts are guided through the Regal Logistics client implementation process
  • Assist accounts receivable in matters of collection on an as needed basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Sales Leadership:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.

Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance.

Industry Expertise:

  • Leverage deep industry knowledge in logistics, including warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services, to position the company as a leader in the market.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong competency in supply chain, logistics, and transportation
  • Proficiency in warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment
  • Proven background in effectively prospecting, presenting, and closing with c-suite, and executive level decision makers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Strong level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across cross functional departments
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure in an efficient manner without close supervision while meeting agreed upon deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and CRM applications including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Ability to travel frequently and on short notice

Compensation and Benefits:

Base compensation range $125,000.00 to $180,000.00 plus, generous, uncapped commission structure.
