Elmec Inc. is a commercial aero-structure final assemblies site providing structural parts for a leading OEM in the US.

Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming aircraft parts and materials, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Store and track aviation components with proper labeling to ensure traceability.
  • Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and dispatching parts for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Comply with strict regulations from the FAA, EASA, and company policies regarding part handling and documentation.
  • Coordinate with other teams including procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and support inventory audits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in aerospace or a highly regulated warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with aviation part numbers, certifications (e.g., FAA 8130, Certificate of Conformance), and shelf-life tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technical training in logistics or aviation is a plus.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of hazardous material handling (HAZMAT) are advantages.
Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to perform a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, and working in various positions for extended periods. The ability to lift and handle materials, as well as to climb, balance, kneel, bend, and crouch, is required to access work areas and perform tasks.

Work Environment:
You will be working in a controlled warehouse environment with strict adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. The role may also require working in hangar areas.

Travel Requirements:
Willing and able to travel internationally for paid training, which includes obtaining and maintaining a valid passport.
