Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years minimum work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a wide variety of team members.
- Experience training users on software and hardware functions.
- Focused, motivated and driven individual who meets deadlines and follows through.
- Extensive experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Office 365.
The ideal candidates have substantial experience with:
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction.
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
- Prioritize daily deliverables against help desk requests.
- Document internal procedures.
- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
- Manage PC setup and development for new employees using standard hardware and software.
- Perform timely workstation hardware/software upgrades and maintenance as required.
This position:
- Acts as software support and technical assistance.
- Responds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support needed.
- Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software used.
- Performs hardware and software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed.
- Investigates problems and finds solutions.
- Actively participates in planning and implementing IT improvement projects.
