Basic Job Functions:

The Talent & Recruiting Coordinator provides responsive, professional support to teammates and leadership across recruiting, onboarding, and other HR activities. Key responsibilities include coordinating the entry-level hiring process; posting division-level positions through internal and external channels; maintaining the applicant tracking system; scheduling psychological evaluation interviews; building relationships with employment agencies, universities, and other recruiting partners; extending employment offers; coordinating New Hire Orientation and onboarding; and supporting HR-related training initiatives. This teammate will be a member of the Nucor Berkeley HR & Talent Team and will support the department’s goals and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors or another applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools to improve productivity and work processes
  • Experience creating professional visual content using Canva or a similar design platform
