Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a dedicated Systems Analysis Team Lead (Business Analysis, Team Lead) to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the Global Compensation, systems team, the successful candidate will lead a team of two to five Analysts responsible for systems support services for multiple software products.
This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead Responsibilities (Approximately 30%):
- Collaborate with managers and clients to determine and coordinate team priorities and assign tasks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and other stakeholder groups to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Mentor team members to facilitate professional development and technical skills growth.
Analysis Responsibilities (Approximately 70%):
- Understand customers’ business processes and practices in specifically assigned areas.
- Support project initiatives utilizing project management methodology.
- Conduct training sessions and prepare documentation as needed.
- Utilize excellent communication skills when working with CGFS staff, bureaus, agencies, and posts.
- Coordinate with the payroll department and software development department for business requirements, design review, and implementation activities.
- Work with clients to review test plans to ensure business processes and requirements are satisfied.
- Identify gaps in business processes or software functionality, provide corrective recommendations, and facilitate developing solutions.
- Extract/query data from systems and databases using SQL server.
- Comply with ISO-9001 requirements and support objectives.

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in presenting business process solutions in an easy-to-understand manner for the client in both verbal and written form.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and responsibilities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Self-starter with initiative to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
- Proven experience using Microsoft VBA and/or SQL developer.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with PeopleSoft applications or related experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience working with PeopleSoft Payroll.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Access knowledge.
- Knowledge of database design techniques and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with workload automation solutions.
- Experience with payroll and/or accounting systems.
- PMP certification.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, financial management, business administration, or a combination of relevant courses and work experience.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $75,000 - $100,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
