JOB SUMMARY Handles customer enquiries and shipment documentation, following MSC guidelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Enter and monitor shipment information through use of MSC proprietary IT system. Liaise with shippers, consignees, government agencies and overseas offices as necessary. Assume documentary and customer service responsibility for all assigned shipments. Maintain efficient ocean shipments documentation and correspondence. Establish and maintain positive relationship with customers. Efficiently routing all files and shipments Provide timely and accurate response to customer inquiries regarding transportation milestones and shipment details. Observe corporate guidelines when addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments. Escalate unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary. Generate potential solutions to customer issues. Provide feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics to order to support process efficiencies. Presence required on‑site 5 days per week Perform other related duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience English: advanced Strong attention to details Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive Ability to work under tight deadlines Great team player Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION Prior experience in supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, call center, administrative or clerical jobs PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Must be able to commute to the designated office location Presence required on‑site 5 days per week WORK AUTHORIZATION Authorization to work in the U.S
