<<JOB DESCRIPTION>> Purpose of the Role: The position is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing all operational requirements for MSC vessels transiting the Panama Canal and calling at Panamanian ports. Coordinate all management activities with suppliers, terminals, and local authorities at each terminal, as well as the transit and navigation conditions of each vessel. Responsible for submitting arrival, berth, navigation, and transit reports to our headquarters, local offices, and departments, keeping them informed of the progress of cargo operations, and reporting any incidents or anomalies during operations. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for monitoring vessel activities 24/7. * Responsible to keep all local authorities updated the arrival time of the vessel to sea buoy and docking time. * Responsible for preboarding meeting with local authorities like custom, immigration maritime health, maritime port captain, quarantine inspector or any other. * Responsible for the coordination to board the vessel with all maritime staff to get the support (Custom, immigration, maritime health, maritime port captain, quarantine). * Responsible to explain to captain how the activities will be developed while vessel at berth. * Responsible to coordinate vendor to follow all vessel activities requested by owners and masters (vessel requirements, fresh water, doctor attention, international garbage, or any other captain requirement) * To delivery and complete all necessary documents and tasks at system to get authorization from local authorities to allow vessel to sail. * While Cargo Operation to monitor all activities including cargo operation and husbandry development. * Monitoring transit of the vessels in canal water To follow-up pending task requested by captain or by local authority that due the nature of the matter must be close after sailing our vessels. * Complete MSC reports to update our systems and dashboard.
